As La Locanda temporarily closes its doors this October to welcome the installation and arrival of a new state-of-the-art kitchen, you are offered the exclusive opportunity to enjoy a unique dining experience with La Locanda’s very own Chef Maurizio (and recently awarded Lancashire Taste Ambassador for Marketing Lancashire) in the comfort of your own home.
Whether you’re celebrating a special birthday, anniversary or simply want to entertain your friends, allow La Locanda to take the stress out of hosting for the evening as they prepare, cook and serve you and your guests a delicious authentic Italian meal.
No taxi, no babysitter and no washing up required as La Locanda bring an authentic Italian experience TO YOU!

£600 fixed cost – for up to 10 people (*)

Menu:
Five-course Menu agreed in advance (see Ts & Cs):
- Aperitivo – aperitif
- Primo Piatto – pasta
- Secondo Piatto di Carne o di pesce – meat course or fish course
- Dolci – dessert
- Caffè – coffee
Includes:
- Chef Maurizio and Cinzia Bocchi to cook and serve your chosen Italian menu in YOUR kitchen and serve you and your guests (*) in your own home.
- Tips and tricks on the art of Italian cooking.
- Italian discussion with restaurant owner Cinzia – La Locanda’s dishes, their ingredients, heritage and more.
- Provision of tableware, glasses, cutlery, table linen and serving dishes.
- Full clear and clean down of the kitchen – all dirty dishes cleared and taken away
Timings:
- Approx. 3-4 hours required to set up / prepare the food
- The experience will then last approx. 6-7 hours
- Both timings are estimates but will be subject to change (depending on agreed menu)
Terms & Conditions:
The ‘dine at home’ experience is available to addresses no more than 30 miles from Gisburn, Lancashire.
Payment
50% non-refundable deposit to be taken at time of booking.
Balance (including ingredients, any additional drinks) to be paid in full 48 hours before the event.
Cancellation
Cancellation for any reason (including sickness/covid), must be made 72 hours prior to the event.
Deposit is non-refundable.
Cost of menu ingredients will be charged if cancellation made 72 prior to the event.
- Maximum numbers = 10 people.
- Menu to be agreed by you (the customer/host) with La Locanda 1 week before your event date.
- Cost of ingredients is not included – on final agreement of your menu, the ingredient shopping invoice will be provided to you 2 days prior to your ‘dine at home’ experience. Remaining event balance and ingredient costs to be paid in full before your event.
- All cooking equipment, tableware, glasses, cutlery, table linen and serving dishes will be supplied (on loan) by La Locanda.
- La Locanda’s ‘dine at home’ experience includes a full clear and clean down of the host’s kitchen – all dirty dishes will be cleared and taken away.
- You (the customer/host) are required to confirm any allergy/dietary requirements of yourself and your guests at the time of booking.
- La Locanda will not tolerate abuse / unreasonable behaviour and reserve the right to protect their employees.
