Chef Maurizio will always endeavour to do so but on occasion this may not be possible – we advise that you let us know at the time of booking to avoid disappointment. Please be aware we do not cater to ‘dislikes’. We encourage you to try everything and enjoy your food journey as prepared by La Locanda.
Please appreciate that your food is prepared fresh when you order and this may mean a little wait in-between courses. Do bear this in mind when booking a time for your table, especially if visiting with small children. We never rush our diners and it is normal for your experience to take between 2 and 3 hours, but you’re welcome to stay all night if you advise us at the time of booking.
Children of all ages are welcome at La Locanda. Many of the dishes on La Locanda’s menu can be cooked in child-friendly portions and Chef Maurizio is also more than happy to prepare simpler pasta dishes, if required. We do have a highchair and we can accommodate pushchairs, but we need advance notice of this in order to arrange the tables accordingly. Apologies, we do not have changing facilities.
We require a deposit of £20 per person to secure your reservation at La Locanda and this will be deducted from the total of your bill when you visit. You can make your reservation using our online booking system.
To help us manage our sittings we ask our diners to give at least 24 hours’ notice of any cancellations. If your reservation was made using our online booking system, you can cancel your reservation there. Please note, if your reservation is cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice your deposit will not be refunded.
The restaurant sources a large proportion of their finest quality ingredients from local producers as well as native Italian suppliers.
Yes, the ground floor of the restaurant has disabled access and we do have disabled toilet facilities. Please inform us of any requirements on booking.
Yes, dogs are welcome in the private room on the ground floor, but we do request that you inform us in advance.
There are some parking spaces at the side of the restaurant and there are no parking restrictions on the road opposite.
No we don’t have accommodation, but there a number of fabulous options for places to stay in Gisburn and the surrounding area. Find out more.
We believe our personalised gift vouchers are the perfect way to treat family, friends or loved ones to a true ‘Taste of Italy.’ Choose to email your gift directly to your recipient, as well as the date of delivery.
