This year, our Opera Day on June 2nd showcased a harmonious blend of exquisite cuisine and enchanting music which also coincided with the birthday of the Italian Republic — a meaningful celebration for us and many of our patrons.

Meet Our Stars
Esteemed Lancashire tenor Seán Ruane returned to his local roots, gracing the occasion with performances brimming with warmth and virtuosity. Celebrated soprano Kate Daggett captivated the intimate audience, bringing classical pieces to vivid life.
Seán and Kate performed extraordinary solos and unforgettable duets which enthralled and delighted the audience. It was a truly memorable afternoon of music and food, laughter and tears and resounding applause.
THE AFTERNOON’S REPERTOIRE
Amidst the backdrop of our cosy restaurant, the afternoon started with a welcoming aperitivo and guests were introduced to our operatic stars with a rousing performance from Verdi’s ‘La Traviata’ and ‘National Anthem Inno di Mameli’.
